Lochmatt is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, nestled in the Bernese hills with open views to the South.

There is great skiing during the Winter months - Alpine, Cross-country and off-piste. Riffenmatt, Schwarzenbühl, Ottenleue and Rüschegg are all  just a few minutes drive, and the major resort of Schwarzee is only fifteen minutes drive away.
